The Role
We are seeking a skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to manage and architect virtualized infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and support client-facing projects. This hands-on role focuses on Kubernetes, VMware vCloud, and automation tools, requiring an Estonian citizen for ongoing projects in 2024.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, deploy and manage Kubernetes clusters (focus on Tanzu Kubernetes Grid).
- Oversee virtualized infrastructure using VMware vCloud, including disaster recovery planning.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions.
- Implement infrastructure as code using Terraform for AWS and VMware environments.
- Perform Linux system administration and automate workflows with Bash and Python.
- Provide leadership in client-facing projects and mentor junior engineers.
- Set up monitoring using VictoriaMetrics, Loki, and Grafana for infrastructure health.
Required Skills and Experience
- Kubernetes (Tanzu Kubernetes Grid) and Helm proficiency.
- VMware vCloud and vCloud Availability for disaster recovery.
- Advanced Terraform for infrastructure automation.
- Experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS) and Linux administration.
- Python and Bash scripting for automation.
- CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions) and monitoring tools (VictoriaMetrics, Loki, Grafana).
Nice to Have
- Docker and containerization.
- DevSecOps and security integration in CI/CD pipelines.
- Networking within cloud/hybrid environments.
- Experience with SOAR platforms.
