The Role
We are looking for a skilled System Administrator with expertise in Linux systems, virtualization, networking, and security. In this role, you will ensure the stability, performance, and security of our infrastructure, playing a key role in system diagnostics, performance tuning, and proactive management. Estonian language skills are required for this role, but Estonian citizenship is not a necessity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Linux Systems Administration: Manage Linux environments (RHEL, CentOS, Rocky), handling patch management, system upgrades, and lifecycle management.
  • Virtualization Management: Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot virtualization platforms (KVM, Xen, VMware) for optimal performance.
  • Networking & Security: Configure and manage networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, NFS) and ensure secure traffic through firewalls, VPNs, and routing.
  • Monitoring & Performance Tuning: Set up and maintain monitoring tools (Nagios, Zabbix, Prometheus, Grafana), identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks.
  • Log Management & Analysis: Implement log aggregation solutions and analyze system logs to ensure system health and resolve issues.
  • Problem-Solving & Troubleshooting: Perform advanced diagnostics with tools like top, strace, and tcpdump, minimizing downtime through proactive issue resolution.
  • Documentation & Collaboration: Develop detailed documentation and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth system operations.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Linux Systems: Expertise in RHEL, CentOS, Rocky.
  • Virtualization: Hands-on experience with KVM, Xen, VMware.
  • Networking: Proficiency in TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, routing, and firewalls.
  • Security: Knowledge of SIEM, EDR, email gateways, SOAR platforms.
  • Monitoring: Experience with tools like Nagios, Zabbix, Prometheus, and Grafana.
  • Log Management: Proficient in log aggregation and analysis.
  • Diagnostics: Skilled in using advanced tools for troubleshooting.
